We are pleased to report that the Hatfield Broad Oak “Big O” Road Race has achieved the highest grading of Gold from the British Association of Road Races (BARR). Gold is awarded in recognition of very highest standards of race organisation and provision encompassing Race Management; Pre-race organisation and facilities at the Start; On course facilities and arrangements, Drink stations, communications and medical and The Finish.

The Race Committee strive to continuously improve the race experience for the benefit of our runners , spectators and residents of Hatfield Broad Oak and the recognition of Gold grading by Barr is a culmination of all our helpers on the day itself, race committee members both past and present and our sponsors.
